Why it’s on the route
Cocoa Cinnamon was started by Areli Barrera Grodski and Leon Grodski Barrera, who sold coffee from a tricycle before opening this first Geer Street shop in 2013. Their roastery, Little Waves, sources directly from producers in Latin America and East Africa and was Roast magazine's 2022 Micro Roaster of the Year. Expect pour-over on Kalita Waves, mole-spiced lattes, coffee tonics and string-lit outdoor tables.
