Why it’s on the route

Devoción was founded by Medellín-born Steven Sutton and works with independent Colombian producers, flying green coffee to Brooklyn and roasting it about ten days after it leaves origin rather than the usual months. At the Williamsburg flagship you can watch the roasting from your table, under soaring ceilings with exposed brick and an indoor jungle of plants. Coffee comes in signature yellow mugs, and a wall of beans is sold to take home.
