Why it’s on the route

DoubleShot is a long-running Tulsa roaster owned by Brian Franklin, a local favourite since well before the city's recent food boom. In 2018 it moved from South Boston Avenue into The Rookery, a two-storey building made from a rebuilt 170-year-old barn and reclaimed brick, with a glass-walled roastery, a loft and outdoor seating; the bar leans on classic espresso.
