Why it’s on the route

Dua is a woman-owned Indonesian coffee concept from a Jakarta-based company, and its downtown DC shop near K Street was its first in the US. The menu features single-origin coffees from different Indonesian islands, kopi susu sweetened with condensed milk and a lemon-coconut coffee called klavee. The bright room has big windows, warm wood and greenery, and drinks come in handmade cups from an Indonesian pottery studio.
