Why it’s on the route
Gimme! Coffee began in 2000 as an espresso bar on North Cayuga Street in Ithaca's Fall Creek neighborhood, founded by Kevin Cuddeback, and opened its own small-batch roastery a year later. It won Roast magazine's Macro Roaster of the Year in 2013, and since 2020 it has been a worker-owned cooperative led by Colleen Anunu, with cafés in Ithaca and nearby Trumansburg.
