Why it’s on the route

Home Coffee Roasters was founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife In Heo and Annie Cheng, and its first café is this one on Noriega Street in the Sunset. The company roasts its own beans at its Clement Street location, using a Sunset Blend for espresso and a Richmond Blend for drip and cold brew, plus single origins such as Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Koke. It is known for playful espresso drinks, from an ube latte to the 'Hangover', a double shot over sparkling water.
