Why it’s on the route
Hudson Roastery was opened in March 2021 by Carolyn Palmieri and Tony Calderone, former New York City weekenders who built the brand at farmers markets before taking a storefront on Park Place. The lineup runs to about eight single origins and blends, including an all-Peruvian house espresso, served as espresso and drip. The high-ceilinged room, with a bar modelled on a nearby historic cornice, pairs coffee by day with a European-style wine bar.
