Why it’s on the route

Giv Coffee is run by Jeff and Emily Brooks, who buy directly from individual farmers in Honduras, Nicaragua and Colombia and give part of each bag's sales to local charities. Roasting happens at the Canton café, a renovated old house with reclaimed wood and a view into the roasting room, and Giv also supplies dozens of Connecticut cafés. Espresso and pour-over are on the bar.
