Why it’s on the route
Lekko was founded by Matt and Laura Ashton and opened this Ohio City café, its first, in 2021. Roasting started in-house on an Arc 800, and since May 2026 has moved to a gas Sivetz fluid-bed roaster at a new production space downtown, with a cupping lab. The café pours espresso drinks and pour-overs, and the team also runs a Warehouse District café and Little Cloud Sandwiches nearby.
