Why it’s on the route

Ready Set! began in 2018 when local musician Chris Allen started roasting in his garage with family and partners, and opened its Gordon Square roastery café in October 2021. Single-origin beans from more than ten countries are roasted on site in six-pound batches. The former Dorn School of Expression building holds the roastery, a 16-seat lounge serving batch brew, espresso and cold brew, and an event room.
