Why it’s on the route

Lone Pine was started in 2007 by Scott Witham, who roasted small batches in his garage to sell at the farmers market, and opened its first Bend café in 2009. Head roaster Caleb Hooley learned his craft in Guatemala. The cafés make their own almond-cashew milk, syrups and pastries, including Liège waffles; this one is in the Boomtown area on Harriman Street.
