Why it’s on the route

Watershed has run a riverfront café on the Deschutes in downtown Bend since 2013, long known as Looney Bean of Bend. In October 2025 the same owners rebranded it as Watershed after installing an in-house electric roaster, and 1% of sales from its compostable bags goes to watershed conservation groups.
