Why it’s on the route
Olympia Coffee, owned by Oliver Stormshak and named Roast magazine's Roaster of the Year in 2013, opened its first café outside its hometown in West Seattle's Junction in 2018. The bar was built with a customised La Marzocco Strada, batch brew and Kalita Wave pour-over for the roaster's single origins. The room, by Olympia's The Artisans Group, uses re-milled timber from a local salvage mill.
