Why it’s on the route

Sound & Fog opened in 2016 in West Seattle's Junction, run by Justin Krebs as a combined coffee bar and wine-and-beer bar. The coffee rotates between Pacific Northwest roasters, starting with Olympia and Broadcast, with espresso, filter and house espresso sodas, while a dozen wines by the glass and rotating taps take over later in the day. The ground-floor room sits beside a small neighbourhood park.
