Why it’s on the route

Passenger, owned by Kyle Sollenberger, is a B Corp-certified Lancaster roaster that moved its Loring S15 and 5-kilo Proaster into a mid-century-styled roastery on North Plum Street in 2019. A small, stripped-back coffee bar at the front serves a lean menu of espresso and filter coffee, with woodwork by local carpenter Denison Witmer, meant as a neighborhood café rather than a showroom.
