Proud Hound Coffee was founded in 2019 by Dan Smith and Carl Arvidson, starting with a mobile coffee truck before opening this café and roastery in a former warehouse on Montgomery Road. Coffee is roasted on site on a Loring S15 Falcon and served from a custom Sanremo espresso machine and batch brewers, with roasted-to-order retail bags. A Southern-fusion kitchen serves seasonal breakfast and brunch.
