Why it’s on the route

Resident was launched in 2020 by Gabriel Chavez and Noe Lopez, who also run Gainesville's Wyatt's Coffee, and grew from a folding table of cold brew to farmers' markets and an espresso cart. They roast a rotating line-up of single-origin coffees from producers they visit, alongside house blends such as Big Shot. The café focuses on carefully dialled espresso, with pour-over for the single origins.
