Why it’s on the route
SK Coffee was co-founded by Sam Kjellberg and Nate Broadbridge and roasts only single-origin coffees, mostly microlots, on a San Franciscan roaster in St. Paul's Vandalia Tower. This Whittier bar opened in 2023 with about 30 seats among warm wood slatwork and plants, and it puts pour-over first: V60s served in Yama glassware, alongside a Slayer espresso machine. There are no flavored syrups, and pastries come from Laune Bread.
