Sweet Bloom was launched in December 2013 by Andy Sprenger, a two-time U.S. Brewers Cup champion who had been head roaster at Caffe Pronto, now Ceremony. The roastery and café sit in a residential corner of Lakewood, where Sweet Bloom extends its direct trade by bringing producers to meet customers. Pour-overs are the specialty, alongside batch brew of seasonal single origins.
