Why it’s on the route

Bean is a Germantown coffeehouse on Goss Avenue opened by local resident Billy Seckman, who spent about ten years buying and roasting coffee at Java Brewing Co. before starting his own shop. Alongside espresso drinks it offers Turkish and Vietnamese coffee, with pastries and sandwiches. The corner space has plenty of tables in the back and a relaxed neighborhood feel.
