Why it’s on the route

WatchHouse is a London coffee company that roasts in its home city, and this Fifth Avenue café was its first in the United States. It now runs four New York shops, including one inside the Chrysler Building, serving filter and batch brew alongside espresso, plus a Rarities program of hard-to-find lots brewed as pour-over.
