Reaction Coffee Roasters began roasting in 2013 and opened its first coffee shop in 2016, pairing an Australian-style café with its own roastery. The Happy Valley shop on Sing Woo Road is one of several branches and sells the house Espresso Degree blends, single origins such as a Colombian Gesha, and drip bags. The team also runs workshops on home brewing, latte art and water chemistry.
