Why it’s on the route
A Roastworks is the roastery of Andrew Tandra, an award-winning barista who started it in 2018 inside Papa & Mama, the neighbourhood bakery founded by his late grandfather in Green Ville, West Jakarta. Since December 2024 it has had the bakery's three-storey building to itself: the roaster and retail sit on the ground floor in view of the door, with a café upstairs pouring single-origin filters. More than forty coffees from Indonesia and abroad rotate through the season.
