Why it’s on the route

Common Grounds was founded in Jakarta in 2014 by Yoshua Tanu, Aston Utan and Daryanto Witarsa, and has become a reference point for the city's third-wave scene, with its own roastery and a long record in barista competitions. The Citywalk Sudirman café pours the house Major Tom espresso blend alongside Indonesian single origins such as Toraja Pulu Pulu and Aceh Pantan Musara, brewed by hand.
