Why it’s on the route

Old Friends is a homey coffee shop in Nyuh Kuning, just south of central Ubud, run by Made, who grew up on his family's coffee farm in Belantih village, Kintamani, at about 1,200 metres. The family covers the farmer, roaster and barista roles, and the signature order is a pour-over flight of the same Belantih coffee in washed, semi-dry and natural processes, so you can taste the difference side by side.
