Why it’s on the route
Tanamera was founded in Jakarta in 2013 by Dini Aryani Criddle and works exclusively with Indonesian coffee, buying from farms across the archipelago and developing dedicated farms with on-site processing. It roasts lighter than most local chains and has picked up international roasting awards, and it now runs cafés across Jakarta and abroad. The Blok M shop is a convenient place to taste its single origins from Sumatra, Java, Bali and beyond.
