Why it’s on the route
Fuglen Tokyo, opened in 2012 in Tomigaya, was the first overseas outpost of Oslo's Fuglen, founded in 1963, and runs as a café by day and a cocktail bar in the evening. Its coffee is Nordic-style light roast, roasted by Fuglen's own micro-roastery in Noborito, Kawasaki, for a sweet, clean cup without smoky notes. Filter coffee is served alongside espresso, in a room furnished with vintage Scandinavian design.
