Why it’s on the route

Heart's Light Coffee, near Shinsen Station, roasts about four times a week on a copper-plated Turkish roaster, described as the only one of its kind used in Japan, and also lends roasters to other cafés. The menu runs from a light house blend to LAYLA, a dark blend of specialty-grade beans, brewed by hand drip, along with milk drinks such as banana latte. Staff choose the vinyl that plays in the shop.
