Why it’s on the route
Aery Coffee is the roastery of Lim Jeong-hwan, the 2024 Korea National Barista Champion and fifth at that year's World Barista Championship. It fills a whole building in front of Jungang Station, with the coffee bar on the ground floor, a shop and lounge seating above, and the roastery on the third floor. A monthly recommended coffee, including competition-grade lots such as Panama Finca Deborah Geisha, sits at the centre of the menu.
