Why it’s on the route

JLN Theatre is co-owned by designer Kenneth Eng, who treats the sparse, plant-dotted room as simply 'a room in which you focus your attention on the beverage'. The team roasts its own single origins, terroir-driven and a touch closer to medium, and competes at national level. Filter is brewed on ceramic Hario V60s and espresso pulled on a white La Marzocco, with a breakfast menu and pastries under the counter.
