Why it’s on the route

Omni is a micro-roastery and café one floor up in a shophouse row in Ipoh's Bandar Cyber, above a betting shop, with a small roasting room right by the door. It roasts small batches medium-light, offering in-house filter and espresso blends plus single origins from Kenya, Colombia and Ethiopia; the Ethiopians suit light-roast fans. The spacious room has window seats, quieter tables at the back and a small balcony bar.
