Why it’s on the route
The Hub has been run since 2015 by Nicholas Tay and his wife Yuki, who roast on site and follow a 'less is more' approach, roasting just enough to bring out sweetness and clarity. Filter is the focus, with ice drip too, drawing on Ethiopian and Latin American coffees and seasonal small lots; the Ethiopia Lomi Tasha has long been a recommendation. Now in OUG, it is a simple, bright neighbourhood spot with plenty of regulars.
