Why it’s on the route
Commune was founded by Ros Juan in 2013 to champion Philippine coffee, first in Salcedo Village before moving to a corner building in Poblacion. Its single origins and year-round house blend come from farms around the country, from Benguet to Davao, and go through a vintage espresso machine and manual brewers at the curved central bar. A long communal table fills the ground floor, while the upstairs room hosts talks, workshops and open mic nights.
