Why it’s on the route
Yardstick opened in Legazpi Village in 2013 as a café, roastery and training space, with co-owner Andre Chanco as head roaster on a 5kg Giesen. It now roasts for its own cafés and more than 100 independent shops and restaurants, and ranked No. 18 and No. 34 on The World's 100 Best Coffee Shops in 2025 and 2026. Rotating single origins come as hand-brew or AeroPress, and the shop hosted the first Philippine AeroPress Championship.
