Why it’s on the route

Origo was Bucharest's first specialty roastery and café, opened in 2013 by Mihai Panfil and still roasting its own coffee. The brew bar runs V60, AeroPress, Chemex and siphon alongside espresso, and the beans also supply a number of other Romanian cafés. The Lipscani shop is small and minimalist, with a terrace and a daytime menu of light bites and cakes.
