Why it’s on the route
Nylon was founded in 2012 by Dennis Tang and Jia Min Lee as one of Singapore's early direct-trade roasters, and the team visits the producers it buys from. A Probat UG-15 sits behind glass beside the bar, roasting small batches on Wednesdays and Fridays. The tiny standing bar on the ground floor of an Everton Park housing block serves espresso and filter coffees, with a high communal table for a quick chat.
