Why it’s on the route
Simple Kaffa was founded in 2011 by Berg Wu, who went on to win the 2016 World Barista Championship, and its Huashan flagship sits on Zhongxiao East Road beside the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Staff walk guests through the menu much as in a restaurant, and single origins up to rare Geshas are brewed as pour-over on the brand's own Drip Shower kit, alongside espresso drinks. The brand's own roasts are sold by the bag.
