Why it’s on the route

Cottontree was set up in 2015 by couple Fai and Ton, the name a play on their nicknames, at the end of a quiet lane in the Green Hill Place development. The café doubles as the roastery, with a 2kg roaster behind glass, and focuses on Thai single-estate coffees such as Mae Jantai honey and Sirinya natural, plus seasonal African lots. Pour-over comes by V60, Chemex or siphon in a high-ceilinged, whitewashed room.
