Why it’s on the route

Rise was founded by Kasidis Laoboonmee, who began roasting in his garage, and works largely with Thai producers such as Chiang Rai's Sirinya Coffee alongside lots from Kenya and Ethiopia. Its roasting lab, Rise LAB, sits behind glass at the Ploenchit flagship so visitors can watch, next to a bar with espresso and slow-bar stations. The menu runs from house espresso blends to filter coffee and cold brew.
