Why it’s on the route

Blacksmith was opened by David Buehrer of Greenway Coffee and partner Ecky Prabanto with the team behind Underbelly, in the former Mary's Naturally building on the lower Westheimer curve in Montrose. Coffee comes from the group's own Greenway Coffee roastery, served as espresso and brewed coffee. A small kitchen turns out a full breakfast and lunch menu, making it as much a daytime café as a coffee bar.
