Why it’s on the route

Cafetal is a Colombian family-run café near ASU that works crop-to-cup, serving coffee from the owners' family farm in Colombia as espresso and drip and selling it by the bag. Family photos and a large mural map of the coffee's journey across the Americas line the walls, and the kitchen adds Colombian staples such as arepas and pandebono.
