Duluth Coffee Company grew out of Eric Faust's garage roasting for local restaurants and farmers markets, opening as a café and roastery on East Superior Street in 2012. Roasting centres on a 12-kilo US Roaster Corp machine and leans toward single origins, with one house blend, Zenith City Espresso. The bar rotates two espressos and two batch brews; the room is small and busy, with sunny outdoor tables a short walk from the Lakewalk.
