Why it’s on the route

Ember is owned by Elisa and Matthew Berry, who opened the café and co-working space in Big Lake in April 2022 and roast upstairs on Coffee Crafters fluid-bed roasters. The ground floor has a living-room feel with amenities for remote workers, and the bakery upstairs supplies in-house pastries, served alongside ice cream from Madison's Chocolate Shoppe.
