Greenwell Farms

Why it’s on the route

Greenwell Farms traces back to Henry Nicholas Greenwell, who settled in Kealakekua in 1850, and is now run by his great-grandson Tom Greenwell. The family grows, processes and roasts Kona coffee on 85 acres of its own orchards and runs a varietal breeding programme that produced the Mamo hybrid. Visitors can join daily farm tours and taste the coffees.
