Mundos was founded in 2017 by Dan Clark, who began roasting in his garage, and is run by the Clark family and close friends, with son Jack as head roaster. The Garfield Avenue headquarters, a renovated former real-estate office, holds the roastery and the company's largest café. Beans come mainly from Central and South America, served as pour-overs, daily single origins and espresso, with a popular scratch-made chai.
