Why it’s on the route

Nossa Familia was founded in Portland in 2004 by Augusto Carneiro, who began by importing coffee from his family's farms in Brazil, and it roasts its own beans from Brazil, Central America and Africa. The SE Division café, opened in 2018, is the most personal of its origin-themed shops, designed after the family's blue-and-white farmhouse with Portuguese tiles and terracotta pendant lights. It serves espresso and batch brew.
