Why it’s on the route
Push X Pull was started in 2018 by Christopher Hall and Emma Mansanti on SE Stark Street, and has since added a second Portland café and one in Seattle's Central District. The house roasting program leans hard into processing, with mostly natural coffees and fruit co-fermented lots such as watermelon or strawberry, best tried as pour-over or straight espresso. The original shop doubles as a natural wine bottle shop, with a plant-lined bar and a short menu on a felt board.
