Why it’s on the route
Pennant Coffee was founded in 2017 in McPherson by Nick Unruh with co-owners Caleb Porter and Andrew Schwartz, and roasts on a 10-kilo Mill City machine. In 2024 it opened this Delano café in the former Leslie Coffee Co. space, a century-old brick building with large wood-framed windows, original tiles, a pink wall behind the bar and a long communal table.
