Why it’s on the route

Shot Tower Coffee opened in 2010 on the corner of Christian and South 6th Streets, run by Matthew Derago and Mariel Freeman, who previously worked at Rojo's Roastery. The bright, wedge-shaped room has windows on two sides, a window bar and a communal table, and the bar serves Counter Culture coffee as espresso, batch brew and pour-over made in view.
