Worth a detour
Simple Merchant Coffee
Newport · Broadway, United States
Why it’s on the route
Simple Merchant began as a wooden tricycle espresso cart that Jordan Durand and his wife Jade built and parked in Newport's Perotti Park. It now has a bar inside Innovate Newport, the co-working hub on Broadway, working as a multi-roaster shop with weekly rotating single-origin espresso and pour-over flights.
